This site is a tribute to Jyotish K. Ganguli, who was born in Waltair, India on June 04, 1937. 'Kumar' meaning 'Prince', was his middle name which he proudly also passed onto his much loved son, Ranjan. 

He seemed at peace with the world when he passed away without struggle or pain, on 30th January, 2023.

In life, he remained a sensitive soul and deep thinker...traits which were often misunderstood.  He is described as 'unique' by most, in terms of his wit, sense of fun, propriety and humanitarian outlook.

Continually championing the under-privileged and down-trodden, many of Jyotish's charitable actions and unspoken direct acts of compassion and kindness to family, friends and complete strangers who needed support, both locally and/or overseas, are just being uncovered more and more. 

Jyotish will always be remembered with affection and love by family and friends across the globe.
